Last time we talked about speeding up firefox with some simple (or not so simple) tweaks (Click here). Now, it’s going furthur!

Note that these tweaks can, in some cases, not speed up your firefox (or not so noticeable), and these tweaks are optional.

Now, please go to the “about:config” page again by typing it in the address bar and hit Enter. Click “I’ll be careful, I promise”.

Change or Create the following settings:

“network.dns.disableIPv6″ (Type:Boolean) set to false
content.notify.backoffcount (Type:Integer) set to 5 (five)
plugin.expose_full_path (Type:Boolean) set to true
ui.submenuDelay (Type:Integer) set to 0 (zero)

Take note (again) that if you cant find these options, you have to create manually by Right-clicking on any entry or a blank space and select New => (Type). Name it as the (setting name) and set the value to the (value suggested).

PS. for those who can’t “Right-click” on a mac, you can “Right-click” by holding down the Control key and clicking. Source
