SpeedUp Firefox with Simple Tweaks!
The estimated reading time for this post is 62 seconds

Here’s something for Firefox users that will really speed it up:
- Type or paste “about:config” into the address bar. Click “I’ll be careful, I promise”, and type or paste “network.http” into the Filter.
The browser use one connection to download a website by default. But this tweak enables it to download with multiple connections. - Change these items:
“network.http.pipelining” set to “true”
“network.http.proxy.pipelining” set to “true”
“network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” set to 30, or something like that - Right-click on any entry or a blank space and select New => Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set the value to “0″.
This is the time the browser waits before it uses the information it receives, setting it to 0 will make it act as soon as information is received.
Now, your Firefox should be running much faster if you are using an Broadband connection, and some smaller improvements on other connections, but you should experience faster web browsing speed.
